yeah I sold the gold bird as well
Well I do like the SS but it would cost me 4k more
The white Formula is pretty much as clean, it just needs a good detail and some odds and ends, 4k buys alot of add ons

Does it have to be auto because that 382 viper steel gray maro on ls1tech right now is fucking sex. I might buy just for the fuck of it.

Hold on i will go find it. The car is amazing but he is firm on 15k. But it has a 382, H/C, 12 bolt, full suspension, welds with MT’s for the track, CCW’s for the street, custom paint, etc. etc. The car is amazing.

The car looks odd but I will admit I do like it
the only thing that concerns me is-
"The sail panel TSB needs to be done. " I have heard alot of dealerships wont honor the TSB
Not to mention since the roof has to be replaced the custom paint would need to be redone
sounds like opening a can of worms
Plus its a few thousand out of my budget

Agreed that bumper is very nice. That car is a steal at that price the only thing i don’t like is the fuel door. I would buy it i just don’t know what i would do with it.

And researching the sellers past threads he refered to the car as being more of a “slow race car” than a “fast street car”
So I decided to pass
if it werent a TH350 with manual valve body and reverse shift pattern with no lock out I may have been interested

You are fucking rediculous and this car is super clean. That TSB dosen’t need to be done are you aware of what it even is? You will be hard pressed to find a camaro that dosent need it done. You are right you will be better off buying a POS beater car that isn’t well put together because it is cheap and then spending 10k on it to try to make it as nice as something like this.
The fact that it is out of your budget is all you should say instead of trying to put down a clean ass car at a great price.

I know the TSB dosent need to be done, if I want roof and sail panel bubbles its fine
I guess we should consider ourselves lucky GM issued a TSB, god knows they havent on the window motors or the door panels…
I wasnt trying to put it down, the sail panel issue is a pretty big deal and the car I am looking at is a 98 (98s rarely had this issue due to GM changing glue on the sail panels in late 98/early 99)
Plus as I stated before I really want an A4
and yes the car is a little out of my budget, 3k isnt going to make me or break me but the car is almost double what the formula is
8k v 15k
So while I will agree its a very nice car, its not 100% what I want and is over my budget
As far as the Formula not being “well put together” why is that?
Because it has a black hood on a white car??
Because it has a mail order tune on it and could stand to be dyno tuned?
I talked to East Side performance and they backed up all the selllers claim and even went as far as saying its a good deal…
According to them the engine is out of an 01’ (customers car) that had aprox 25k on it, it maybe 450rwhp behind a M6, shortly after the work was done (less than 5k miles) the customer was rear ended and the car totaled, the customer sold the engine to an employee at East Side, the employee stuck it in the Formula and sold it to the guy who has it now…

First off I am not a kid, I am 31yrs old.
Secondly I am not a dreamer, I am an adult with adult responsibilities.
I am in the process of getting married this fall and looking into a new house.
Therefore unlike alot of members around here (not pointing fingers) I do not have a ton of disposable income nor do I get any financial help from Mommy and Daddy.
I work a pretty good job (NY state) and my fiance is a LPN so while money isnt a huge issue I do have other priorities…
So that being said I have to compromise with what I want and what I can realistically afford…
