# LS1 T56

My dad is looking for an ls1 F-body(maybe a GTO) t56 with as many ‘swap’ parts as possible, like flywheel, clutch, shifter, bellhousing, etc…

Its going behind a mild 5.3 destined for his RX7 so he’s not really interested in a super built one, a stock one that shifts nice is what he wants.

If you’ve got one or know someone who’s got one for sale, let me know.

what’s he looking to spend? I’ve been looking for an ls engine for my chevy and may consider getting a complete manual swap if I can get rid of the trans, already have an auto

It’s an FC, he’s got 2, an 87 and an 89. The '87 has had a v8 in it before but the one of the PO’s gutted under the dash and cut some holes in the firewall/cowl area. The '89 was owned by some ricer idiot and is kinda torn apart but much more original, needs some parts though. He hasn’t decided which one he’s going to swap, they’re both pretty rust free.

He’s looking to spend around $1500 depending on what’s included, he’s also got a th350+4000 stall that he might be interested in trading.
