Spohn & UMI are coming out with a “street” version. This is the email I got from Byunspeed about it: We have all heard the horror stories of replacing the stock k-member with an aftermarket k-member only to see them crack at the welds when driven on the street. Current aftermarket k-members were never meant to be used on the street, only at the track. They cannot handle the rigorous abuse of bumps, pot holes, etc. found on our streets. Spohn & UMI, both leaders in the Camaro/Firebird suspension game, are now coming out with their own aftermarket k-members available later this month and July. UMI has a tentative date of later this month, early next month along with Spohn somewhere around June or July. Below are direct links to each product with preview pictures. If I hadn’t already spent so much on this engine I might have put one in except for what you just said. Hopefully these ones will be better on the street and stand up to the morons that can’t properly fill in a dug up road with blacktop. ---
