anyone here got a maaco paint job ? which location did u get it done at. pics? how did it turn out I know its gay ziptied has the same thread but im wondering if there are any half decent maaco’s around toronto. ---

Well from what I’ve heard, some locations can do good work, but with bodywork you always get what you pay for… the more you spend the nicer it will be. Most of the time when people say Maaco they mean a $400 respray which looks like shit and peels within a year. ---

if you would like a paint job my dad and a friend own a body shop they painted my s14 and the job looks better than stock they do an amazing job. i get so many compliments no peal no wavy look. price is good. located in aurora. if your interested i can give you the number and exact location. just let me know. i have seen jobs done there. . a couple buddies just finished painting their cars there and came out fairly good … if u want a car show paint job do not go there … if u want your car to look nice again with no scratches just like a clean paint job nothing special bring it there… im prob going to bring my car there. . they are also under new management!! ---

OHOH Better get Macco! My buddy got his car painted there… Surprising enough it came out pretty good… and cost him @ 1200 not a bad job. Again… U do get what u pay for ---

^ yeah i got quoted the same too 1200 and this shop is located on laidlaw ave in markham . . ( mccowan and hwy 7 ) i donno where the other locations are tho!! ---

hahaha, as alot of you may know my car is multi coloured and to be honest I dont give a fuck how amazing the paint is. This season I would like to be 1 solid colour hahaha I dont want a prostar paint job so when I smash it up I wont become suicidal… discuss haha ---

prep it yourself and get them to prime/sand/spray it, thats your best bet. ---

Maaco … Canada’s Cosmolision specialists. If you have to make up a word to be Canada’s specialist at it … Maaco is just like any other cheap bodyshop. You car will look good for a year tops. A GOOD paintjob should last 10. You can’t judge a paintjob by how it looks coming out of the shop. They’ll probably buff and wax the crap out of it before you see it. Best way to know if a shop is any good is to see what kind of a warranty they offer. If it’s only 1 year, then figure they know something is likely to happen shortly after 1 year. You car will be all one color, and if that’s what you want, they can do it. Just don’t be surprised when you see holes in the body filled with newspaper and bondoed over. You’ll be lucky if your doorjambs, trunk, interior, etc are the same color. 99.9% of the time they just mask off the trim and glass and spray away. ---
