# Mac Users.... Intel Chip Good?

Are the new apple laptops with the Intel chips (MacBook Pro) good? I’m wodering, since they’re the first ones out, if people have had problems with running them or consiquently, problems running programs that were made before the Intel chips were introducted.
Girlfriend needs an Apple for graphics and webdesign stuff.

All the news I’ve heard from/ about them are good… Bootcamp makes them very versitile… OSX, Unix, and WIndows… who could ask for more
Note: If running windows isn’t a huge concern… check out [smalldog.com](http://smalldog.com) I got my laptop from them @ a good price… refurb 17" g4’s for around 1400… not a bad deal… 1 year warranty too.

My work will be getting a limited quantity of 15" MacBook Pros and 20" iMac with Intel plus the 3 year AppleCare and sell them for less than the educational price. We’re only getting a few of them though. So if anyone is interested, a heads up. We’ll probably have them available for order next week. PM me if interested.
We put Windows XP on our MacBook Pro… :tup: runs nice and smooth. Also ran AutoCad with no problems too.
