Ive owned 2 macs before. A mac mini and I just got a 13 inch mac book. Do I have to worry about running any anti virus programs and is there anything I should have on here? Just wondering because I know a lot of my friends have pc’s and they have all these anti virus programs on them. ---

You dont need any antiviral on a PC or a mac. Learn to not search for ‘PORN’ or ‘CRACK’ and you should be good on a PC. Not much spyware exists for Macs yet… But it may start to change. And i do have Norton Antiviral on my Mac, but its for somewhat other reasons besides the fear of Viruses. I ran a scan today and it came up with nothing, as expected. And I use this computer to download porn and cracks. ---

lol. im also trying to find games for nestopia for mac. Does anyone know where I can find these? Ive looked every where . ---

I haven’t had an anti virus/spyware prog on my pc since I got vista 2 years ago. Poor searching habits lead people to want to buy the programs. Then they spread the lies that you NEED them. Just be smart about browsing and downloading. ---

I HIGHLY reccomend getting a nice application called ‘little snitch’… it’s always the first thing I install on a macOS machine ---

i’ve had my one macbook for 2 years with no problems at all and no anti-anything, if you have the money go for norton but its not necessary in my mind… ---
