Batch should have been the starter. Batch should be 2nd string, he looked great in the pre-season.

One good thing to come out of this game. Atleast now we don’t have to worry about Maddox coming in and fucking up a playoff game if Roethlesberger gets hurt and ending the season for us in a game that if we lose, we’re done. So maybe it was good for Maddox to play today and show us what would happen if we were in a big game.

Maddox didn’t do all that bad. If he would have had 15 more receptions, 3 less interceptions and 1 less fumble it would have been a whole different game :naughty: 🙂

All you “FOOTBALL FANS” failed to see the play as it happened. Quincy morgan is fallin away from the ball and is on his heals…MEANING he didn’t come back for the ball like he’s supposed…something heinz ward always does right. If quincy comes back he makes the catch and may or may not break the tackle and get more yards. Besides, Jeff reed is gettin paid to make field goals and thats it. He missed when it counted.

i like tommy, but thats the worst ive seen him play. he didnt look good. i dunno if that was morgans fault or not, tough to tell, but that doesnt excuse the way tommy played. throwing into quadruple coverage??? not falling on the fumble??? just stupid decision making.

i dunno, i think if ward was there he would have had a lot of receptions and i wanna know why the fock we passed so much when our starting qb was sitting, we had healthy willie and bus. but w/e heath miller is awesome. is that his name? that tight end that had a couple nice grabs.

miller is awesome…we need to keep his pass receptions lower than his ability enough that other teams still underestimate him, like we’ve been doing, im my opinion

things i hated were the way Maddox played, our non-existent running game mostly. things that were good were Miller having a breakout game, great play from our young DBs, and good kick returning. but i think its a postive that for how dipleted our team was we couldve still beat a pretty good team, we just didnt capitalize.

they need to hit their peak late in the year anyway. they peaked too early last year.
