Great example of why you don’t buy a high mileage vehicle as your DD just so you can afford to get the car you want.

So your friend that thread and explain to her that with a 100k vehicle troubleshooting like that is going to be common. If she’s a good mechanic it might make financial sense, but if she has to get every little thing fixed at a shop it’s going to be a money pit.
