# Make fun of Steve for not building his E30!!!!!!!

Well as everyone knows I took this off John’s hands, and I finally found somewhere to keep it so I picked it up this past weekend. My plans for it are as follows:
-fix the gas tank leak
-alignment(fixed for walker 🙂 )
-get the body all together
-get the car buffed and wet sanded
-gut the interior, cage, new seats, cd player etc
-new wheels and stance(need opinions on these because surprisingly I’m stuck)
-and finally IDC what anyone says, over next winter its getting a ls1 swap
Having said all this I will update it as much as possible as all of this besides the ls1 swap will be done by May so it will happen fairly quick. I made this thread basically for advice and help if needed on the car. And a few photos for fun…

BUT on a serious note…
whats up with the bumpers? the front kinda looks lame but the rear def looks lame.
im not up to date with e30’s so im not sure of bumper options but you should look into them.
also have you thought about doing black trim on the bumpers and doors? i think the contrast looks way better than having the whole car white…
as for wheels…
i think rs’s and type a’s suit the car the best.

Yeah the rear bumper is lame. The front isn’t too bad. I agree it would look better with black trim pieces.

Needs black trim or a full Mtech II kit. Right now it just looks strange with the mismatch of bumper/trim/paint.
Please get rid of the shit ass black with polished lip bull shit 1999 and I just got fucking wheels. Thanks. 🙂

BINGO!
car will look alot better with nicer wheels. These were the only wheels i had for the vehicle when i sold it to steve. People need to stop hating, its a work in progress. lol If he wants a late madel e30 valance it will have to be cut off the body of a late e30 and welded onto this body. Not worth it imho.

haha i completely agree with almost everything said, wheel budget is $2500 or less, unless i like something a shit ton thats more $$. as for borbets, fuck that they are sooo played out as are bbs rs although i do love them. im looking to do 16x9 in front and 16x10 in the rear and drop the bitch to the ground. trip pieces will also go black because i love the contrast. and wheel color will be nothing else besides full polish unless the centers are something besides black because i hate that shit. must be a 3 piece though…
and then heaters for days and days. i may do one this weekend until the rear tires melt off because these wheels blow lol
