I’m now hearing rumors about the Lightning returning with a 6spd Automatic transmission. an SVT Ranger, possibly an SVT Expedition, along with a performance version of the Ford 500. ---

The GT had problems breaking out of the 15’s, and the Z28 was lucky if it broke mid 14.s Now you can buy a Evo, WRX, STI, SRT-4, and probably a few other 4cyl cars that would all smoke the shit out of that. The import scene lighted the enthusiast fire. And with a whole slew of imports that could eat their muscle cars alive, the manufacturers had to step it up. How happy would you be if your big bad cobra would get spanked stock for stock against a Neon? ---
