Walmart sells huge chunks of hickory in bags. I have not found anywhere that I can get nice logs for smoking. I did smoke a pic this weekend over the chunks, it was phenomenal.

K-Mart has bags of Char-Broil brand Hickory Chunks (like a 5lb bag for $5). Adventures in heat in Clarence is also a good place to go. They have decent prices and a pretty good selection.
