thats nice, but with not atemping to hide anything I guess it looking like like it’s not hidden isn’t a surprise. If mark wanted to hide a kit, I’m sure he knows someone that could help.

Yeah, evilsrt had the stock air box, you could hide a bowling ball if you wanted too 😛

OH, BTW, my slicks came in today, and they are getting mounted tomorrow. I also got the 1/16" NPT tap so that I could get the nozzle mounted in my charge pipe. So, with that all done, I can re-assemble my engine bay tomorrow. It will be simple, the hardest part is wedging the fucking charge pipe back in. Its almost no wiggle room, so it ends up going in with me screaming as my finger gets crushed every time.

Picture update:
Here are my 15 x 7 Rota slips that I had my M&H street slicks mounted on, and the new M/T ET Drags that are about go get mounted:
That should help get my 60’ down and my problem with spinning through 2nd.
Next, I got the charge pipe installed today, battery put back in, and ran the wire into the cabin for the arm switch:
Here, you can see the wiring I have to do. I have the relay hooked up, but I still need to hook up the nitrous control box (in the mail) to the arm switch and the relay:
They are just tucked out of the way for now, so I can still drive the car.
It fired right up, no vacuum leaks, nothing rubbing, etc… Next is just to get the bottle filled, test the solenoids for leaks, then I can start picking out the right jets. Good stuff :tup:

Thats the same place we decided to put the jets on in my friends srt. He gained about 150 ft/lb on a 60shot.

Alot of ppl focus on hp#'s, nitrous make’s huge amount’s of torque, & as previously stated cool’s the intake charge;) Ck ur nos tune by reading a fresh plug and/or looking @ it on ur laptop for knock retard.
I think the ET drags will solve alot of ur traction issue’s, would’ve stayed w/26" tall to take more gear out of the launch. Also a taller tire has a bigger footprint/contact patch:cool:

I spoke with PSI Chick, the girl who signed up, and a few others on srt forums who are in the 11’s and 10’s. They recommended sticking with the 24.5 for a few reasons. She actually picked up 4 mph going from a 26" tire to a 24.5", and maintained the same 60’. The 26" was just too much tire, so it was wasted energy.
I was worried that I would have to shift into 5th gear, but I will be able to stay in 4th through the traps (at least off spray, I have no clue how much ill trap on spray), so it should still be OK. I guess there are a few people running 9’s in srt’s with a 24.5", so my goal of deep into the 11’s should be achievable. If not, there is always the option of buying new ones, again ☹
And yes, I will be watching KR and AFR when I am jetting the nitrous. I am pretty sure I will be scared to death the first time I spray it, hehe.

Based on my pressure regulated fuel rail and fuel pressure numbers I got today, I am going to start out with a 35N and 18F set of jets, which is approximately a 50 shot. If I can get a set of 31 and 16 jets, I can be safer and start with around a 35 shot, but we will see.
Fuel pressure tested out perfect today though, so were ready to go, pending my dynotune parts coming in the mail.

:tup: sweet. Honestly it might be better to start out with the lowest jetting you have (35? shot). I’m sure it’ll feel like a whole new animal with even just that. Good luck out there on the slicks, last time I was out there I saw you doing burnouts through the 1/8th. Btw I ordered that same heater as you about 15 minutes after I saw your post about it. Couldn’t pass up that deal.

Yeah, my car didn’t work too well with those street slicks I had :lol: Thats cool about the heater! Its a great deal. I looked around and it was the same price as the heater alone with other companies. I just hope the quality is good. I have heard good things about their products though, and their customer service is great (from personal experience), so I am not worried one bit.

The rest of my DynoTune nitrous parts came in today. Everything is really nice quality :tup:. I hooked up the nitrous control box and arm switch, and tested it right before this downpour we are having right now. The box has a digital display that allows me to adjust the rpm start and stop window, the tps calibration, the gear I want to start spraying in, etc… Even the arm switch it came with is nice, with a red LED inside to make sure I know if it is on or off.
Right now, I am ready to spray, but I am in no rush. I am going to make the wire harness for the bottle heater tonight with all the wire they provided, and then I can install that the next day we have without rain. My bottle is filled, I have the jets, its just time to test.
Again, big :tup: to DynoTune for their fast shipping and quality shit.

i got a MSD digital ignition retard box i bought to hook up my nitrous if you need one. This looks like a nice setup i would just think about building the spare tranny now while you wait for the stocker to go, because as im sure you know it will and pretty soon once you start the spray.
