so let me get this straight… if you had a family member mother father brother whatever… and they were in excrusiating pain, barely living, and they just wanted to be let go… you wouldnt want to grant them that wish?

**ISSUE 1:** Aren’t you glad your mother didn’t abort you? I am, else I wouldn’t be talking to you now!
**ISSUE 2:** All Life is sacred. That being the case, one can not be allowed to “opt out” of it at will.
**ISSUE 3:** Under no circumstance can one individual be purposely destroyed so as to try and help another (i.e., “no evil can be done to gain a good”)

First, with today’s modern pallative care (a philosophy of care to try to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people with a life threatening or terminal illness), the instances of dying in excruciating pain is the exception, not the rule.
But more importantly, Life was given to us freely … as a gift. As such, it is not our’s to end as we see fit.
**_Euthanasia_:
-Often disguised by the name “mercy killing,” euthanasia is also a form of homicide.
-No person has a right to take his own life, and no one has the right to take the life of any innocent person.
-In euthanasia, the ill or elderly are killed, by action or omission, out of a misplaced sense of compassion, but true compassion cannot include intentionally doing something intrinsically evil to another person.**

stop plagiarizing first off all, second let me give you a situation since you believe that you can never take the life of an innocent person… there is a plane that has a bomb on it, its about the size of a learjet and it has about 10 hostages being held by terrorists … if it makes it to its desitination, a building, it will kill 3000 people. Now you are a fighter jet behind this lear jet and you have the choice, do i shoot the plane down saving 3000 people or do i let it go and watch it kill 3000 people

So homosexual marriage is not allowed? But molesting choir boys is infact permitted?
Child molestation and homosexuality was highly accepted in Sparta. That was 500BC.

You are entitled to your opinions, as am I.
Therefore:
1. Vulgar statements need no reply. So I offer none.
2. Our lives are a gift, and can not be thrown away under any circumstances.
3. If by “Superman” you mean Christopher Reeves, and if so then you are implying that embryonic stem cells would have helped him … extensive research has proved that to be totally incorrect. The only (and I mean only) positive results that have come from stem cell research is from adult stem cells and umbilical cord stem cells. Not only has embryonic stem cells been shown to worthless in helping any known diseases whatsoever, it has actually accelerated many of the diseases it was hoped to cure. FAIL!
4. We need only to look at Nature and Biology to see that homosexual mariage is completely wrong. Male anatomy “fits” perfectly with the female anatomy. Nothing else “works”. For all of time, Nature has dictated it as such. Nothing’s ever gonna change that.

word… i have no problem with gay people just living happy, doing their own thing… i dont understand why people go out of their way to make it such an issue
