Well, this has been interesting. A talk about McCain to all this. :wow
I would just like to briefly mention that I’ve had about 12 years of theological training (self-taught + formal). In our discussions I’ve seen all the standardized anti-Christian responses.
But what I have said thus far contains enough insight to questions for everyone to meditate on for quite a while. It takes time.
Also, quickly moving from one question to the next (w/o having taken sufficient time to review the last one) does not make for productive thought/dialogue.
So, maybe the seed of inquiry has been planted sufficiently … maybe not. Ultimately, it’s not really my problem.
Because any true understanding of these matters will come from Him to you, not from me to you. I am merely a weak vessel that God sometimes uses to speak to others about Him.
So let’s all take a second and breathe … ;D

Yes, they should tear into Palin. She is a horrific choice and an embarressment to the American Electoral process. It’s hilarious that the GOP’ers tactics are being used by the ballless Dems for once and you bitch. It’s not even the Dems, a lot of people find her a joke. How can you not? She has 0 business being the VP Cand and potential President.
You act as if the people of America are living the high life right now and we are going to lose it suddenly if Obama makes office? Do you realize how shitty things have gotten over the last year? Is Obama responsible for that? :🙂
Let’s see what the last 8 years has done:
- The rich got flithy rich, while the rest of us are struggling
- China, Russia and the Middle East made massive gains in the world economy, while the U.S. stagnated
- The U.S invaded a country that did absolutely nothing to us, resulting in thousands and thousands of innocent civilians killed in that country
- Healthcare system is still broken
- Social Security is still broken
- We are more dependent on oil than ever, and there is no alternative energy program
- The national debt has almost doubled to $11.3 Trillion, and we owe that money to China and Saudi Arabia
- Washington is for sale to highest bidder
- Our economy is on the verge of collapse

i dono where you got all that from but if i want to off myself i can… its a free country last i checked. the only reason theres a following against it is because while your sitting there in the hospital bed and the nurses pay no fucking attention to you while you shit yourself over and over… why is it illegal to off yourself and save everyone including yourself the pain but its ok to pay the hospital millions in end of life care? euthanasia is a way for somone to choose when they die rather then rotting away in some fucking bed until you die… fuck that id much rather go out by my own hand when i want to go. and not you or anyone els will ever stop me. its my life and ill end that shit when and where i see fit.

Shawn, right now you sound like this biggest little girl I have ever hear. It truly makes me sad when people complain about this shit. STOP looking at life with such pesimism and learn to be happy with what you have.
You sit here and complain about our healthcare, social security, and our government. Let me let you in a little information. We are one of the very FEW countries in the entire world that even have these programs available. You think your way of life is bad? Even in countries that do have the programs we have they still have it worse than us because of their governments.
SO WHAT THE FUCK IS THERE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT?
You say your not a sheep, and you complain about being oil dependant and that you are a nonconformist. Here is the truth, you are a radical.
You still drive to work every day correct? You still actually work? You vote. You spend money on goods. You conform to this country in every single way as everyone else. You might complain about the shit that you take for granted and call yourself a nonconformist but the simple truth of the matter is that unless you actually do something about you are still a sheep. Just like allllll the rest of us.
The main point is this. Are our programs perfect? NO. To think there is a perfect program is ignorant. But nothing pisses me off more than to hear someone complaining about our way of life when they sit here and soak it in on a daily basis themselves. If you dont like it then fucking move.

To be fair the US was founded on freedom. It is your right to choose not to have an abortion, or be against performing Euthanasia, conducting embryonic stem cell research, cloning a human, or having a gay individual get married. Just like it is my choice to be fine with them except cloning to an extent. In my mind its pretty narrow minded of you to think that because the way you think on these topics means that noone else can make their own decision about it. But hey that’s whats great about the US we can totally disagree on things and not worry about being prosecuted for it.
