Production of the Mercedes-McLaren SLR supercar may soon be coming to an end but that appears to have no affect on the number of modified versions of the car being released by the world’s big-name aftermarket tuners. Late last year we saw the introduction of the Hamann Volcano, and then on Friday we saw Renntech its new SLR 777 package. Now, Germany’s ASMA Design has revealed its new Perfectus SLR, which was developed originally for the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi. Highlighting the upgrade is the car’s brazen bodykit, which consists of an imposing new grille and front bumper combination, new side sills and extended rear fenders, a subtle boot lip spoiler, and a new bumper with an integrated rear diffuser. Under the hood sits the venerable 5.5L supercharged V8 engine, only power has been boosted to a healthy 700hp (522kW). Torque has also been lifted to 630lb-ft (855Nm). The end result is a 0-100km/h sprint time of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h – 10km/h more than the already extreme SLR 722. Modifications to the powertrain include an uprated supercharger, a high-flow catalytic converter, new ASMA racing mufflers, and a retuned ECU. How much does that thing weight?! EDIT: I guess with all the added mods. It would compensate for all the CF and weight reduction. ---

Gorgeous… Anyone notice the little row boat in the background? Thing probably costs about 5-10x what the car does. wolfenden, have you not seen every other SLR? It’s not meant to look like their sedans, it’s supposed to look like a race car. That thing is hot as fuck. ---

Fuck the monitors at work suck dick…(I’m at home now, on a monitor over 16bit) It’s a bit garrish, the vents are way over done, and I don’t like how over stylized the bottom of the front is, but I still don’t think it’s horrendous. _shrugs_ ---
