my zune 80 has been far less of a headache than any of the ipods I’ve dealt with. The more features they add to the ipod, the glitchier they become. I also NEED more than 60 gigs of storage, and dont like touchscreens. And the Wifi syncing is nifty. ---

How old is the comp you are using, could be the usb ports on it are old? There also may be a problem with the operational system, might need a clean sweep. I’d tell you to just return the ipod and get something better for half the price but it being a present it’s probably not an option… ---

I’ve honestly been through about a dozen iPod’s/MP3 players since they’ve come out. I stopped buying them. I had trouble using it right from the jump cuz my nails were to long, now the stupid fucking thing doesn’t work at all. It’s a paper weight.
