I was wondering if anyone in this forum uses Mega Squirt, because 1 of my boys swears apon it and is trying to get me to do the same. My life would be so much easier he says i even have a bitchin labtop to tune with, well i was just wonderin if any of u use it and how practital it was and hard to use or hard to install or any ifo at all thanx ---

two guys I know for sure are CanadianDrifter240sx (Chris) and AnDrEw (Andrew) they both have KA-T’s. ---

You have a son old enough to know about MS? You’d need some skillz bro to build the board in the first place, then install it, then make a base map and tune it, then tune all the other stuff. And you don’t need a “bitchin” laptop to do it… a regular one will suffice. Standalone isn’t worth it unless you’ve got some chedder to dyno tune it with to make it perfect. Dawg. ---

no not unless your good at tuning/have access to a dyno or alot of money for a dyno you would be better off getting a power fc / or a safc-2 depending on your setup ---

Talk to Chris (CanadianDrifter240sx) he told me all about his “advantures” with making the board, wiring it into everything and then trying to come up with base maps to get the car running, then improve the maps once it is running… ALOT! of work… and quite a bit of knowledge needed But him or Andrew “as theo mentioned” would be the 2 guys you would want to speak with on the System so try giving them each a PM and hopefully they kind enough to give you their own advice from experince!
