# Member Assisted Moderation Thread/Rep abuse reporting

In the past and more so recently members try to get a hold of me or other moderators to bring particular attention to a certain thread which is getting out of control.
With limited staff resources here we can’t catch everything on our own and the “report” feature of the forum is rarely used.
Member Assisted Moderation Thread could be a nice addition to the way things are run here, especially as it goes along with our other rules where members help run the forum such as the 3 vote lock rule.
If you see a thread where our few rules are being broken - IE personal attacks and attack threats, post a link in this sticky and we will look into the matter.
This should help clear things up and keep the forums a nice environment.

You can also report specific members if you feel like they are crossing the line by posting here.

People need to report posts they see that violate rules rather than just bitching about it in the forum. I don’t think any of the mods spend their time looking at every post in every thread, so if members could report posts, that’d be swell.
