It was a local Buffalo company that installed the roof back in the day, and apparently they told them last year the roof was going to need to be replaced or fixed up. But they opted to wait because it was going to cost them a lot of cash.

There’s also been talk of a new stadium for the Vikings for a little while now…I wouldn’t be surprised in thinking they thought they’d be in a new stadium before something like this happened.

theyre also supposed to deflate the roof during snowstorms, but they didnt.
it kind of seems like they wanted this to happen

Deflate the roof? Isn’t it a covered metal structure? Saying “deflate” implies that it is help up by air pressure.

Where did you hear this? I grew up in MN and not once heard of this…
How much sense does it make to deflate the roof into a concave shape…seems like a big bowl holding snow would create more of an issue.
