the secret is the foot the is pointed down planted, u push off that foot to move the flat foot back.
its hard to explain but…
most people think u drag the flat foot back, when u supposed to push off the front foot…

i know how to do it … and your right… its like think of it this way… its like your scraping gum off your shoe… you keel the sliding leg straigh… while the bent leg with the weight is used to push with…then as you ened the sliding movement for the first legt you do a switch… like driving a stick… you lift of and press down… even distribution… meh hard to explain. your right…
