Actually needed it to draw the lines of where I need to cut the quarter/fender. Time to whip out the cut off wheel.

Wow this actually is a pretty good build.
THe only positive of zipties over those bumper releases is the zipties will break before they fuck up your bumper.
I would like to see a close of the fitment of the fender flares and tires

I would like to see that theory tested, I’m willing to bet the tabs of most bumpers will rip off before a zip tie breaks, we should try it with your monster bumper of doom.

I have ripped my current bumper off 3 times now. The zipties broke every time without damage to the bumper.
You need the medium thinkness black zipties. the hold well but break easy

zip ties have a few draw backs:
-hard as hell to tighten in the fender wells
-make the alignment shit
-can’t be used on the radiator support.
-are a pain in the ass to remove in the fender well without lifting the car
the dzus fasters fix all that. Damage to the bumper will happen and won’t really matter that’s why I have two this year. Zip ties certainly won’t prevent the damage.
I’ll get fitment pictures once its a little father along. The setup is no where near complete hence the temporary tape.

Finally got my hands on some open ended lug nuts so I could put this beast back on the ground.
keep in mind there is a lot left to do, it still needs spacers in front and rear, power steering isn’t hooked up, drivers side fender/bumper mount isn’t done, camber and toe are arbitrary with no attempt to line anything up. so if stuff looks off in the pictures… it is.
