One other thing DO NOT shave your head before you go, you are going to get a haircut as soon as you arrive no matter what and if you have a shaved head they just press harder into your scalp LOL. As far as being the guide, it doesn’t hurt plus it should be a promotion at the end of boot camp if I remember correctly.
