# Missing passenger fender liner = screwy wipers?

My wipers randomly turn on and off. I can only control the speed, but I can’t turn them off. Also, I lost my passenger fender lining 2 weeks ago…so I’m guessing that the wiper amplifier (it’s black on my 97) might have gotten wet.

Can anyone confirm or offer a suggestion?
