> [@Mikes98RT](#): > > jeeves, i can see where you’re coming from. i just think its a bit odd and something that i’ve never heard of before. in a sense i feel abd for the people who dont graduate because they cant swim, but on the other hand u r right and they really should kno how by the time they r going to graduate college. My spanish teacher said it best at the begining of this semester. “Most of you are taking this class because it is a requirement. You can hate spanish all you want, not want to be here, not care about it, etc. But the fact remains it is a requirement so just do it and get it over with and you wont have to deal with it again.” There will be a lot of things in life you got to do that you dont want to, are scared to do, or think are stupid, but the fact remains you have to do it regardless. This is actually a good test for those people who breeze through everything and hate/cant swim. --- _[View the full topic](https://forums.speedlife.net/t/mit-students-will-sink-or-graduate/11765)._
