oh snap you are right, i forgot all about them offering that motor in europe
it was a 2.0l 16v
what bottom end did they use?

here is what they offered in Europe
The European market was lucky to get the 2.9l 190hp VR6. Other European engine options were a 2.0l 8v 115hp 4cyl and a 2.0l 16v 136hp 4cyl (there were some early 16V’s with catalytic converters from 1990/1991 that had 129Bhp).

sorry about that image being too large, i don’t think these motors were a very common one tho, i would love to swap wanna these in the VR6, 205 hp and 206 lbtq i think plus it weighs alot less then the VR…but hopefully i will be converting it to a 2.9l soon if all goes as i want it…

bbm sells a 16v g60 kit, and the grenade that was questioned. “g60” aka grenade’s cause they tend to explode if not properly maintained. when i firsthad my g60 swap from dustin liek 2 years ago, mine blew up on the way home:) the g60 that i just dropped into my old 16v shell wont leave the garage without a new cog belt tho…

haha i forgot about you tellin me you delt with him, it blew up on the way home!!! WOW. i’ve seen the bbm g60 and i wish i had one real bad

Well i hadnt realized my post took on any viewers. Well actually a vr6 is not in my budget, Im a high school senior workin a fucked co-op job as a part time mechanic only making 6 bucks an hour, practically living on my own payin for my busted ass car and everything that goes in it, along with anything else. No one showin me how to do things im learnin as i go… and yea i can time an 8v it took hit and miss since the aftermarket cam gear timing marks were not right on either side of the cam. I got it in time. But it was pointless since now its blown, guess what im learnin as i go now? im rebuilding a new engine with $111.18 a week its gonna take awhile but alil less criticism and possibly alil credit would be well deserved.
