Have been searching around for one for a bit, found one i really liked but it got sold the day i was supposed to check it out. Checked around craigslist, many are molested with ebay parts etc. So here is my criteria:
-Lower miles 50-80k
-must be manual transmission
-Un modded or lightly modded
-vr6 or 1.8t
-jetta
-golf/gti
I have 12k, let me know what you have. I’m just searching for the right one

Why would you want a MK4 let alone a VR6/1.8t?
Buy a TDI.

I do not want a tdi, I’m not looking for gas savings here.
I happen to like the mk4 , but i would take a mk5 as well

My friend has a 2005 mk4 1.8t GTI for sale. Its a 5-speed with 60k on the clock. And his asking price is below your limit.

The millage is more or less a preferance. But post some photo’s and specs I may be interested
