# Modifying the Valve Body in a Ford 4R70W Tranny

I heard taking them all out makes it shift pretty severe though, is that the case?? I knw a few people that left out both springs in the 1-2 accumulator, and they thought they were going to break something with as hard as it shifted. I’ve never experienced it myself, so I dont know what they mean by severe.
