# Moms AC adapter port needs fixin', who can help?

My moms laptop is having rpoblems. The AC adapter port seems to be loose. If she wiggles the cord, then it works but its a PITA. Can anyone on here fix it for her?

what kinda laptop?? i fixed a similar problem on a compaq and my dell.

I do it all the time, but I would have to charge you for it, because it is a PITA. I can guarantee it will work, because I have had a few that were burned out because of the board shorting out from the connector being loose. PM me if you want me to take a look at it.

Sursheot, I told her and she said she will think about it for right now. She wants to find out if it could be done cheaper. SO, can anyone else help us out?
