Where in that quote did I say it was easy? I’m comparing NASCAR to F1. It takes skill to be successful in ANY racing, but F1 takes REAL skill. They type that you are born with, they type people rarely have. Those guys are gifted an an entirely different level than the rest of us.

Two cars running the same line on an oval would you conceder that “road racing “on an oval???

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that F1 driving is “faster”, as in the reactions that the driver has to constantly make, even when there is no traffic involved, just to get around the track.
That would make it seem “more difficult” than NASCAR to drive, but there is a HUGE element of strategy involved.

Did my post on page one start a NASCAR vs F1 debate?😃
Relatively speaking NASCAR is low-tech compared to F1.
You can’t even begin to argue against that.
F1 skills are much more demanding that is why you don’t see a 40 year old F1 driver.
The reaction times cannot be achieved by older people.
The biggest thing they have in common is that they are both boring to watch.
I watch F1 to see amazing technology.
I watch(occasionally) NASCAR to see crashes.
I think it is safe to say that a F1 driver could make the switch a hell of a lot easier than a NASCAR driver could.
My 2 cents.
