Is 8 the current number signed up? How many do you need to make it happen?

I’ve never dynoed a car. How do you do it once youre on it? Do you just redline 1st thru 5th and let off?

you don’t drive but they usually put the car on the dyno, drive it at a set speed to calibrate the rpms, go 1st to whatever the closest 1:1 gear you have is, usually 5th in a 6 speed, and go wot from near idle (1.5-2k) all the way to redline.

pretty sure its usually third or forth gear

Pay no mind to Benny…he’s mentally handicapped.
Seth puts the car on the dyno and completes the test. If you have a 5 speed vehicle, 3rd gear will be your 1:1 gear 99% of the time. If you have a 6 speed vehicle, 4th gear will be your 1:1 gear 99% of the time. Please feel free to post it on whatever forum you would like - the more the merrier.
We currently still need about 3-4 more prepays to make this happen. Several ppl on the list that have “committed” haven’t sent payment so we’re still waiting on that.

5, they didnt have a 6 speed tip in 03, the stick shift were 6 gears

are you high? 3rd gear is hardly ever anywhere close to 1:1 in a 5 speed sports car, usually 4th or 5th if it’s not an OD trans.

4th but only because he didn’t want to spin the rollers to 170+
1st Gear Ratio 4.20:1
2nd Gear Ratio 2.49:1
3rd Gear Ratio 1.66:1
4th Gear Ratio 1.24:1
5th Gear Ratio 1.00:1
Final Drive Ratio 3.15:1
Most 5 or 6 speed sports cars’ 4th gear is closer to 1:1 than 3rd, all I’m saying.

You can do that on the dyno, yes. But not at the dyno day. Besides, you should take your car to the track for that stuff.
