# More BP F\*d the world theories?

Right, but when the hydrogen mixes with sulfur to produce hydrogen sulfide, that is what causes the smell.

Nah, beer makes farts smell bad.

But really, sulfur smells terrible. I went to a sulfur hot spring in Alberta and the whole place smelled like fart.

its not the oil leak that was the end, it was the methane leak that the oil leak has caused. Maybe now with the oil not leaking the crystallized methane deposits will stop melting and shifting
