Driving a car with good crash rating can only do so much…so don’t follow one and absolutely don’t crash into one. :eek3

I know it’s just test dummies but watching them go face first into the back of the trailer made me cringe.

They need to stop using Chinese steel and bolts to make the underride guards…SRSLY.

Holy shit yeah, I guess so. I can forsee that most panic situations would end with drivers trying to avoid rear ending the trailer only to clip the side of the rail and end up in a worse situation.

I know this would weaken the strength but given proper reinforcement I feel it would work better if it was also a bit lower.
