I am posting this at 5:05am because I was just outside for an hour while Fort Hunter fire department to try to find a reason why my carbon monoxide alarm was going off at 4am. Although we are safe and such, I do need a new fire/CO alarm. Three years old… And already broke. I’m gonna fuck my builder in the ass with a pineapple. Maybe this was the bad karma T. Koch said wa coming my way? Lol ---

This same shit happened to me during the summer…Stupid fucking broke carbon monoxide detectors…I felt like such an ass when I called 911…I asked if the call was going to sound the Fire Dept Alarm so everyone in town would hear it…Sure enough as soon as we hung up it did…The firefighters still looked pissed even after I said I was sorry for waking them up at 4am on a Sunday morning…haha ---

mine broke and went off too. I through it ouit the window and went back to sleep. CO is not going to build up in my apartment when I have all electric heat and its the middle of JULY ---

I’m sure its the builders fault your piece of electronic equipment that was probably manufactured in china broke? Anyways, glad to see it wasnt anything serious… A false alarm is better than no alarm at all. ---

They are such junk… I went through 2 since I bought my house in 2007. Mine would go off randomly, then the low backup battery alarm would chirp constantly with a new battery, etc. Fuckin’ garbage. ---

Yea what pissed me off was that the alarms are hardwired into the house’s electrical system, so that ruled out bad battery. I really don’t thin it was bad installation as it would’ve gone off back in 07-08 when the house was built. I think it’s just a dumpy alarm. Home Depot will be visited today. ---
