First thing…what kind of video card(s) are you running? A SLI setup?

If you dont need the SLI feature, you can save yourself alot of money. The Asus board will have better overclocking features and thats about it.

Im not saying to go with this board but I am building a new system very soon and i’ll be going with this one : [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813157081](http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813157081)

one of the best budget boards with a PCI-E slot on the market.

uhhh primary purpose of machine?

If You are just going to browse the internet and write up Word docs… You won’t need much.

If You are an OMGHARDCORE GAMER then You will need substantially more.
