# motorcycle tire question

ok guys, ive been trying to source down tires for my honda bobber and i want white wall tires.

It seams that the only tires i can find in my size are classified as front tires. I plan on runnin dunlop 120/90 18 on rear and 100/90 19 up front. Now i can only find front tires in these sizes. Does it realy matter if a tire is classified as front? the bike probably doesnt weigh more then 250-300 lbs since i chopped it. Obviously im just cruisin around town and not racing so would this be an issue?

I explored this idea with my chopper. From what I learned, It is possible to run a front tire on the rear, but nobody recommends it. The tire wasn’t designed to be used in the rear and therefore may have undesired riding attributes…

make sure it isn’t a V patterned tread because you have to mount it in reverse rotation
