# Moving to banff

Hey guys,
Im moving to banff from Niagara Falls, Ontario. Leaving on september 8th. Just wondering if there are any 240 fella’s around banff/ Canmore? I have owned 240’s for 5 years. Have had both ka-t hatchback drift car and my daily driver sr20 coupe which i will drive 3,500km out there with. Im an accomplished drifter/ racer and it would be cool having some locals show me the area.

oh, im also going out with no job… but i have a place to stay. Im sure work wont be hard to find. I have 6-7 years of combined ski/snowboard sales experience and a sales and marketing certificate. Anyone have hookups at cool shops in the area? or any ideas?

Ive been in Banff and Canmore for a week now and have not seen 1 240 or 180. Not sure if there are many performance cars here. But anyway Welcome

lucky guy. i wanna move to banff.
you could always drive out to calgary since its a 1 1/2 hr? Drive, and check out the drift practices and what not.

GL with the job hunting, Calgary should have quite a few openings, although I hope you’re ready for our winters 😃 IMO I would get something else to drive in the -40 weather. :lol: And welcome to the site!

oh, dont worry about me graphicdude. I actually grew up in Calgary and moved to Ontario when i was 12. I know what its all about. I have not been back in 11 years, I can’t wait to see how its changed. You know people out here say when people move out west they never come back. I moved away and have missed it ever since. Especially since i love snow, mountains, and everything in between. There is a different “cold” feeling in ontario, here it is damp and very humid so you feel cold from the inside out all the time.
