# MPG of modified cars.

I got 30-33mpg last year this year for some reason it seems worse…maybe the 255lph fuel pump, 550cc inj., bigger intake manifold??? :confused

My GTP would get anywhere from 22 average to 28 average depending on conditions but it got better highway mileage modded. I could squeeze out 32mpg if I wanted to, but the first time I hit a stop light all bets were off.
My Formula was not as good on the highway but having a stick instead of a 3500 stall converter was lees of a hit in the city driving.

23 mpg’s last time i kept track, which is a mix of beating on the car, mostly normal driving though

34 highway and 28 city. about 490-500mi for the whole tank.

about 24 city and 35mpg highway with the k04… i wouldn’t see it changing that much with the 30r. my dad in his 03 jetta TDI gets on average of 55mpg to the tank with mixed driving and on the highway he can get 60+mpg. his best was on a long trip to green castle conn which yeilded him 65 mpg. no lie.

My gst use to get like 26 city if i stayed outta boost but the civic blows…does like 25 city with the occasional vtec blast
