isnt stock boost like 18 psi. what r u gonna do turn it down from factory:lolham:

well 22 isnt stock? so i would think 18 is less than 22? right?

If you want better gas milage buy a bigger turbo and stay out of boost.

Shit the guy asked for feedback on EVO fuel economy. He never implied OMGZORZ i think an EVO will get 35+MPG i am buying an EVO so i get zzz L33t fuel economiez!!!11!!1!1!!!

Any way you slice it, its 20mpg average. Somtimes better sometimes worse… end of story. There are alot of great used evos out there, you can really get alot of bang for your buck now, as long as you can get a decent interst rate.

just rechecked 11.5 gallons, 200 miles 80% city driving = 17.3 mpg
I don’t even care… putting gas in the car is the cheapest part of the ownership experience.
It just appears more expensive because you’re constantly putting gas in the car due the to small tank.

Honestly I dont remember because I had it reflashed a week after I bought it. I want to say no though.
I wont be driving the car that much anymore seeing I’m getting a company truck:(. On the plus gas will not be an issue anymore.
Just remember with a reflash your going to be running 93 opposed to having a choice between 91 or 93 stock, but I dont think there is much of a price difference anyways.

just a side note with the “flash” that you’re planning…
I’m not sure which company you plan on getting your ECU flash from, but I initially went with Al at dynotune for my custom flash. He is pretty much the biggest toolbag on the face of the earth. Horrible to deal with on the phone, not very prompt, huge ego, mediocre results. Maybe you’d have better luck, who knows.
With that being said, the difference from stock to the mail-in flash was great… HOWEVER, Mike @ Innovative Tuning got his hands on my car for a wideband tune and the difference between Mike’s tune and the mail-in tune was night and day. I would definitely NOT recommend you opt for a mail in tune, rather swing it by Mike at Innovative and have him tune it to your mods. It was unbelievable how the car felt after Mike’s tune as opposed to the mail in flash.
With that being said, I get very similar MPG to what Jeller was talking about. I’ve got an intake, 3" TBE, walbro 255, and am running 23-24psi with occasional onramp blasts and am seeing around 20mpg in this cold weather.
