# MT. Pocono PA what to do

I am going up to the Poconos this weekend for the nascar race and will be up there for a few days. anyone know anything cool to go see or do up there. i will be 3 miles from the track.

I know it’s not an outside activity but I think there’s a casino somewhere in that vicinity. Mohegan Sun or something.

I stopped there on the way back from AC last year because we heard about a deal where if you say you saw a billboard and that you were coming from AC that they gave you $100 in free play. I wasn’t driving so I don’t remember exactly where it was though.

Just googled it and it’s by Wilkes-Barre.

Scranton has a minor-league baseball team, and an outdoor amphitheatre (if I remember correctly), there are typically events going on every weekend. If you want to do some stuff off the beaten path, there are a bunch of lakes outside of the city where you can rent a canoe/kayak for a day, paddleboats, etc.
