5.Ohhhhhh Cheap, easy, quick, light.

Just don’t be a douche with it. Most fox body drivers make me ashamed to be one myself.

classic insurance? isnt the milage restricted with that?

i agree with jeeves. cam and bottle with minor bolt ons will go a long was on a lt1 or an ls1. i also hear good things about fox’s tho in terms of bang for buck

i say it all the time…if i was building a track car, id would be cam and bottle all the way

Whats wrong with a 3rd gen? You can find a cheap Iroc, a few bolt-on parts for a 350 can make you pretty quick.

383’s are nice too.

Not a huge fan of those year Camaro’s honestly but maybe if I find one for the right price. This car is definitly going to be bottle fed because I already have a nitrous kit looking for a home other than my garage. But the thing i’m waiting for someone to tell me is are there any special things I should be looking for in the different years of the mustangs/camaro’s. Like is 88 better than 89 and so on. Thanks for the info so far though guys, keep it coming.

4cyl 5spd coupes = 26XX
8cyl 5spd coupe = 27XX
8cyl 5spd hatch = 30XX

4 cars, weighed at the Certified Public scale (tractor trailer scale) on Clinton. 1/4-1/2 tank of fuel, with donut spares, and no occupants. I can probably dig up the slips / reciepts if I cared enough.

In under 2 hours You can shed:
50# out of the interior
50# spare & jack
40# under the hood

My turbo2.3 notch tipped in at ~2520

…and still have wipers, HVAC, all plastic panels & carpeting, sheetmetal body, etc.

😃

87-93 4cyl foxes. pick up a wrecked / rotted v8 donor car from 89-93 (drivetrain & ecu).
