# Mustang guys - pops racing

Anyone have experience with them in Rochester? They are the closest sct certified shop and have good reviews on national forums.
I have made contact with them but don’t want to book an appt. If someone here has had a bad experience

he did some testing on my turbo SHO years ago and seemed very knowledgeable. He will be doing the tuning on my camaro at some point.

good to hear someone local is versed in QuarterHorse, as I’m helping out on a 94 mustang with a powerdyne blower and he’s going to need tuning…kennedys did it previously but the tune is a total hack and they failed to inform the poor guy that the blower’s bearings are toast and it needed a rebuild.

Yeah, I have not heard kind words about Kennedys…I had a bad experience at P&Js…Most of the reviews are solid for Pops and Adam so I am going to head in that direction

I used to go every 2-3 weeks to Kennedy for a bottle fill. Then he told me he had to remove the 4 lbs left in my bottle to fill it. During the filling process he ran out of nitrous after 4lbs. He then charged me for the 4 lbs of nitrous. I don’t really care about the 20 dollars. I however feel this was a huge waste of my time. All he had to do is look at his guage.

This is correct. He did my car when it was a 306, 306 with spray, and now my 410. Tune has been in the car un touched for 3 years and 25k miles. Adam will get the job done.

I had to reschedule but Adam came down today and in 4 hours corrected every driveability issue I was having…all while making the car have a stronger torque curve, running a much safer AFR, and using less timing than the previous tune.
