Tricia, tell me you didn’t get that header because of the “enviroment” lol
I can’t wait to ditch my DC header, I just cant afford me a good one at the moment.
IMO and from what little iv’e read, the design of the header makes all the difference on the N/A K motors.
Ditch the cats, you wont!

So I got the header yesterday, looks nice, looks to be quality made, heres some pics, Im installing it today so I’ll post up some pics after :thumbup

omg. Tricia, I just want to inform you because I doubt you’d had alot of experience in the specific matter, but that collector doesn’t look “nice” or anything related to the matter. I don’t want you to go through the hassle of installing it then realizing that it’s junk

this might sound stupid lol but whats the collector? and come summer I am buying a dc race header, but Im saving money for that, so this will be temporary , cause I read that the race headers give alot more power than the short ones

That’s the collector… and that one leaves A LOT to be desired…
I would not buy the DC header either… Once again just my opinions

well I am calling the company I bought this from because Im not liking it very much, Im looking it over and noticing more and more dings and dents and the top part with the four holes (not the collector) has orange tinting to it, I thought it was supposed to stainless steel or whatever, and Im noticing one of the holes in the collector is bigger than the rest, Im gonna return it, Im not getting a good vibe from it, Im just gonna drop the dough and get a comptech I think, any ideas ?

You should just save your money then. I thought these were going to be your permanent set.

I am def. returning it, for what I got I could have bought something off of ebay for 50 bucks, not 180. So I am returning it, so sorry I didnt believe u guys about quality, I retract my previous statements, a header is not just a piece of metal, it def. matters, I feel like a ass now lol

How much is the Comptech header? Sounds like the header is quite the piece, I’m glad you didn’t bite the bullet and install that junk on your car.

ohh like the comptech “shorty” header. If that’s what you want, then go for it. I’m sure the Comptech will be much better quality. If you want a race header, Six Sigma Racing makes a very nice header for the new Si’s.

ya but I will always have a check engine light on with a race header, and I know they make things that space it out but then the engine isnt getting the correct reading, so I dont think I wanna go with a race header now that I did some research, I dunno tho I could be wrong lol

They don’t have much in the way of the new Si’s. Kteller doesnt even make their own headers anymore anyway.

Should have saved up and gotten a Hytech or SSR race header.
Do not buy OBX.
I have to take some pics of where the pipes meet the flange flange on dkid’s. :rofl
