That’s why we’re here… And why I don’t think it’s right for one car guy to say to another “don’t waste money on \_\_\_\_\_\_\_ platform”. For a \_\_\_\_\_\_ (insert make of choice here) guy, that mentality is understandable, but if you like cars for what they are, hey keep going!
