:tup: OT sorta, what does it mean when he is contacted as a free agent? Whats the diff compared to being drafted? Whats the diff in $$$ too? What are his options from here? ---

The difference is he wasn’t drafted, he can probably be picked up for cheaper, and they don’t waste a draft pick on him. So - he’s not like, some amazing player - but they see potential. He got hurt his 2nd half of his senior year, so lots of teams saw that as a risk. My roommates cousin was picked up after the draft last year by the Cards. He was on the practice squad making $90k with everything paid for. He was “too small” but he packed on some weight and hit the gym all the time. Went #1 in the NFL Europe Draft… Hopefully he will get to play this year. Hes getting us tickets for a game and getting us on the field and in the locker room before hand and all that… Cant wait to meet Edge!
