# My car on '00+ SS 10 Spokes...

You can see my garage to see what it looks like on the 17x9 & 17x11 ZR1 style rims I usually sport.
Well I AutoXed yesterday and I mounted up the 17x9 all the way around ‘00+ SS 10 Spokes w/ Kuhmo (well used) Victoracers I picked up for Xin’.
Here’s a pic…
I actually think I like the look, maybe more accept that I would miss the 315s out back though. Oh, and I have the center caps fro the rims, just not allowed to use snap on center caps when AutoXin’. 😉
Anyway, when this set of race ruber wears out I was thinking of picking up some 275/315 Victoracers for my ZR1 style rims and just 2 new 275 street tires (probably just 712s to match the current 275s I have) to use on the 10 spokes for my street setup. Whatchya think???

I was second in my class (ESP). It was my first event on the Kuhmo Victoracers (I always used to run on my street tires) and I’m still learning the R compound, I needed to trust them a bit more.

LoL, that’s how it always is w/ the Viper. I was staged right behind him during our run group and there’d be a crowd around his car. Then a few ppl would notice me running better times and would come ask about my susp. setup. Hehe, but I can’t blame ppl, it’s a bad ass car. And man, is that thing scary fast. 2 times the RWHP of my car makes for a fun ride!

The 'vette is a friend of mine who’s AutoXed for a while now. He has a ‘98 Z28 that he took from Fstock champ, to ESP champ then campaigned in Street Mod for a while over the years. It’s his daily driver w/ over 100k on it though and he was ready for a move up. He’s still working out the new ride (the car has more or less all the right parts, but the previous owner never really sorted it out) and getting used to it… but none the less he was about 5 seconds quicker than I on a track that’s only 59 and 64 seconds respectively! The thing is bad, and he’s a great driver. Really he’s taught me everything I know about AutoXin’, but I still have a lot to learn and I wish I could go more often to practice too!
