I think I drove it 2 times last summer, 2 or 3 times the previous summer. Didn’t drive it once this summer. It just sits and wastes away. Glad I’m not alone, lol. If you know anyone looking for one, I have one they can buy :lol: I’m also planning on getting the front end to an old Jeep, cutting it down to make it look like it’s coming out of the wall and building a little bench where the hood pops up…possibly turn it into a parts washer. That would be tight. Piano hinge it at the hood for use as a storage locker, and run a switch from a 12v battery to the headlights for extra illumination. ---

Looks great. i wish I could afford to do something like this with my current garage, although I would probably have to rebuild it in stages as it sits right on the property line. What did it run you for tear down and rebuild? ---

This allowed them to do a “new” garage without a total demo. I think I ended up paying roughly $3000 for the whole deal. Maybe a little bit less. ---

^$25k paying someone to do it? yeesh…my 24’x22’ was $15k in materials…which included a new pad…also has a huge loft, own sub panel and natural gas run to it. ---

I got this guy i know that gave me some price quote very decently priced and great portfolio 24’x35’ Garage with 11ft ceiling in one portion for a lift fully sided, 16ft door, framed and blueprinted, etc. = $18k with pad but no interior stuff like electrical, insulationand fully licensed/insured. 24’x24’ = $13k 22’x22’ = $12k Everyone else quoted me 1.5x the amount he did. if anyones interested in a Group buy let me know lol. maybe we call all get a garage next year. i will be getting the 24’x24’ ---

I had a 20x24 and added another 20x24 to it w/concrete i think it cost me about 6,000. easy–nice job looks great. building a garage isnt tough, toughest part is the rafters and you can buy pre-made rafters now for pretty cheap. my hang up was i wanted it to be taller but the town wouldnt allow it, it had to match what was already there(heightwise) and then i sideed the whole thing to look like 1 building. i did have to get a varience for total sq ft and have the neighboors ok it. luckily i have awesome neighbors. ---

I had my 20x24 built for $10,500, so they aren’t as expensive as people think. This was in 2002 so now maybe $12,000? IIRC it was AGB Garages who did the work. Easy to work with, even handled a last minute design change with ease.
