thanks. you own an mmm kay 2 as well huh? 16v gli? :cool i have seen you on ca-va as the same username right? ;D . i believe you were having issues with your cis? yeah, it would be a cool run, although my vr is pretty close to stock power wise. only exhaust, and filter. i would have dumped a bunch of $ in to it right away, but my financial situation is at a standstill right now due to $ being “tied up” so to speak. :headbang progress will be coming soon. i plan on washing and cleaning it out tomorrow, and testing my exhaust with my buddy and his meter. i will clean up the bay as well and take a new pic or 2. ---

pete might i suggest something? you ever see how those race porsches get below the ridiculous 95dB sound reg at laguna seca? run a turndown bruh, it’ll look SICK and it’ll pass the dB meter because the sound is hitting the grouns before hitting the meter, it’s better than just blasting at the meter, ya know? :nod ---

not a bad idea ben. :nod i think the only thing that made me not run a turndown on this car was the fact that there is a cutout in the rear bumper. if i had a rear valence and the exhaust tucked up high it would be a no brainer. i like the look of just the pipe coming out right now though too. i think the one good thing i have going for me is that you need to be at a 45 degree angle to even test it, and 20" away, is a substantial amount when you aren’t putting the meter right near the tip. i still think as it currently sits i am BELOW 94 db. we will wait and see, and maybe i’ll mock up a turndown tomorrow and see how it looks. :ninja ---

tdi- how much do you want for the car? what was the issue with the cis again? i want the car, but my $ situation blows. :headbang vlad- thanks dude! no, it definitely has less mods if you don’t count the engine as being swapped a mod in itself. the bmw has a lot more work done to it engine wise. :ninja updates for today are rewired coolant temp sender for gauge, and made a respectable brace for my mirror. i couldn’t stand it vibrating anymore. the hood pins should be here tuesday or wednesday, and i plan to have the front bumper mounted by next weekend. ---

metered my exhaust and it clocked in at 108 db. this is revving the piss out of it at 4500rpm’s. guess it really is too loud. lol oh well, pay they’re gay little ticket and move on. ---

The hoodpin work actually turned out great. Amazing thing is, they don’t seem out of place and work spectacularly. Almost ended up scratching the texture while playing with them however. :ninja ---

yeah tell me about it. i clean it and no later than me driving from the car wash to my house its disgusting already. i’m constantly telling my passengers to clean they’re shoes off before they get in, and even with all weather mats, they always seem to dirty it up inside. i also need to clean up the droplets from coffee under hard cornering. LOL ---
