A 2 post lift requires 6" min. of at least 3500# concrete or so I was told when I built my garage and put 2 lifts in. I have 9000# rotary lifts and put 18" of 4500# concrete 6’ wide down through the center of my 40’X100’ garage the rest of the floor is 8" thick…You guys did a real nice job on that lift install I really like the concept of no posts esp. for brake work…Where did you get the lift. It almost looks like what Wal Mart uses in there tire shops…Bill

Looks great. Get some hockey pucks, they make great lo-pro lift risers and pads for these things if needed. some cars you cannot lift along the pinch welds on these without major damage.

If I were to install lifts here these type are what I’d consider. Out of sight and out of mind when not in use really. Can stand the space other lifts occupy when not in use.

Awesome job JSE. When I read the title I said “That had to be a major pain in the dick”. I really like how when they’re not in use, they’re not in your way.

That’s definitely my favorite part of it. my garage isn’t small but is by no means large (or as large as i’d like it to be) and man it just seems to fill up so quick.
