Had the day off so worked on getting the last section of cabinets replaced. Disassembly! ![http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9781.JPG](http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9781.JPG) And gone… ![http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9784.JPG](http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9784.JPG) New Cabinet and dishwasher side panel ![http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9788.JPG](http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9788.JPG) And somewhat finished. ![http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9792.JPG](http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9792.JPG) We have the countertop being measured on Monday. Then it will take 3-4 weeks for them to make and then install it ☹ The replacement cabinets that Lowes screwed up will be in early October. Then once the countertops are installed, I’ll do the ceremic tile and almost be done I’m beat! But the nice part is I have about 2 weeks of break until the replacement cabinets come in to get back into the garage 😉 ---

[/quote] look more into it. some stone countertops discolor over the years from the steam from your dishwasher ventilation from what i’m told. might want to take that into consideration when purchasing a new dishwasher and get one that doesn’t vent externally. i believe siemens and LG offer dishwashers that vent out the discharge pipe. i don’t know specifically if quartz is one of the materials that will discolor. ---

This is called, what I did this weekend. In addition to the Light the Night Walk, Bowling leage and some eating and drinking mixed in, I spent a TON of time getting my final cabinets in so they can finish the countertop measurements tomorrow am. I’m beat. So I take a perfectly new cabinet ![http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9899.JPG](http://www.rodandpiston.com/db/upload/files/IMG_9899.JPG) And then I take a saw to it. You think they would make the cabinets fit the ovens. But that isn’t the case. 95% of cabinets need to be cut to fit the oven. OK, it’s 95% done. Just some final details, woodwork, and to grout.
