Got the first problem fixed, driver’s side door now locks. The cylinder is messed up so I have to lock it from the passenger side or trunk, but it works. ---

So, some upcoming plans… Fix some rust spots. Fortunately, there is no structural rust that I’ve found. Why not? It’s comfortable, runs/drives/rides great, starts up every time I want it to, and it was right in my price range - and you don’t see them every day. If I could afford something better, I probably would have bought something better. ---

Yeah, everybody has to start somewhere. We don’t know how much he spent on it either. For all we know it was between this and a rusted civic. Hopefully it works out for him and he doesn’t have any of the issues that he ran into with the other two cars. ---

Hondas aren’t my thing, never have been. But yeah, it was somewhat about money - If I could afford a brand new Lamborghini Gallardo, I probably would have bought one. But since my budget would not allow, I looked for something that I liked that was in the price range I was looking to spend. Sure, I could have gotten something newer and has no personality, just like every other kid in college - Cavalier, Neon, MK3 Jetta, the list goes on. I found this, I liked it, I bought it. ---

The beemer is cool because it’s RWD. Blank canvas so to speak. I think it’d be real cool with a Twin turbo Skyline motor, Supra motor, or even an LSx or 32V Cobra motor in it with a T56 behind either. Sure it’s not the prettiest car, but it’s different. I like different.
